Zespol Szkol 7 in Kalisz, Poland is combined of two schools: a primary school and a junior high school. In the primary school there about 300 students between 6-12 years old. The junior high school consists of more than 300 students at three levels. The total number of teachers is above 60. Our school provides students with typical for Polish educational system subjects? like: Polish, mathematics, biology, history, geography, chemistry, physics, physical education and art. In the Erasmus + project only junior high school students are engaged. The history of our school is really rich and long. We have been involved in a number of projects, like: e-twinning, tutoring (individual training for students that have the potential but are not confident enough), we organize a number of different events, contests and festivals (e.g. Municipal Foreign Language Film Festival). In Kalisz our school is famous for sport-oriented classes (especially handball) and we have a wide offer of profiles to choose from: journalist-humanistic, science and linguistic. As far as learning of foreign languages in our school is concerned, you can choose from German and Russian. English is the main a compulsory subject for everyone.
